Sieve Shakers

This is a light, portable, mechanical (hand driven), simple but sturdy sieve shaker suitable for bench mounting.

The side to side movement of the carrier, which can take up to 7 sieves of 200 mm / 300mm / 450mm diameter, is through a train of gears operated by a hand wheel. A heavy fly wheel ensures smooth operation. Available for following three sizes of test sieves

1. For 20 cm (8 inch) Dia. Sieves
2. For 30 cm (12 inch) Dia. Sieves
3. For 45 cm (18 inch) Dia. Sieves

This versatile sieve shaker can shake up to 8 sieves of Eight Inch (8”) OR Twelve Inch (12") diameter. It works on VIBRATORY MODE and the speed can be controlled through a continuously variable speed control knob. The vibrating base plate is mounted on helical springs that give vibratory motion to the sieves. The springs get agitated by a heavy-duty DC motor. A pair of rods and a top holder plate is supplied to hold the sieves from falling apart. The top holder plate can be fixed on the top of the upper most sieve and thus the sieve set is firmly held.

A DIGITAL Timer (0-99 minutes) is provided to time the sieving process. The sieve shake automatically switches off when the set time duration is reached.

Digital RPM meter can also be provided on request. Suitable for operation on 230 Volts, 50 cycles single phase, A.C. Supply, these tabletop sieve shakers are available in the following two models:

• For 8-inch Sieves, SOIL 165VD8
• For 12-inch Sieves, SOIL 165VD12

This versatile sieve shaker can shake up to 7 sieves of 152mm (6”) or 203mm (8”) diameter. The 12” inch dia. sieves can also be shaken with the help of an adaptor.

The shaker is driven by a heavy duty ¼ H.P. motor through a reduction gear immersed in oil. The sieve table does not rotate but is inclined from the vertical axis and the direction of inclination changes progressively in clockwise direction. If the stop-pin below the table is removed, the shaker can have a rotary motion. In addition to this gyratory motion of the table, there is an upward and downward movement ensuring that each square cm of the sieve is utilized. A pair of rods and a holder is supplied to hold the sieves in from falling apart. The holder can be fixed on the top of the upper most sieves and thus the sieve set is firmly held.

Suitable for operation on 230 Volts, 50 cycles single phase, A.C. Supply. The machine can also be designed for operation on 110V, 60Hz.

LABAIDS Rotap Sieve Shaker produces both circular and tapping motion. The circular motion is approximately in the range of 280-320 RPM while the tapping motion is approximately in the range of 140-160 RPM. The mechanism for imparting circular motion and tapping is immersed in an oil tank and is motorized. The shaker can accommodate up to 7 Sieves (6 sieves + lid & Pan) of dia, 6", 8", or 12" (depending on the model chosen). The sieves are not supplied with the machine. The shaker is heavy in construction and is driven by a heavy duty ¼ HP motor. The machine is suitable operation on 220 volts, 50 Hz, single phase, A.C. Supply. The machine can also be designed for operation on 110V, 60Hz.

LABAIDS^® Wet Sieve Shaker machine (commonly known as Yoder type wet sieve shaker) consists of a water reservoir and a holder, which holds up to five sieves of 6 inches (152mm) or 8 inches (203mm) diameter. The water reservoir is made of metallic G.I. sheet and has an efficient drainage system. A heavy duty belt driven motor (¼ HP) is used for highly efficient functioning of this wet sieving machine. These Sieve Shakers are activated by electromagnetic impulses, they are recommended to perform sieving tests where high precision and performance are important, and where continual and intense uses are required. It is particularly designed for test sieves with a diameter of 200 mm x 50mm h. They are therefore suggested for accurate sieving tests, also on fine materials. These Electromagnetic Shakers are of simple and sturdy construction, can hold up to 8 sieves.
